Kid+Neys=???KIDNEY LAH!!

Kidney at the beginning!(you wouldn't wanna kno what happened to the beany kidney in the end!)

Well, on the 23rd of June 2008, G10 had bio practical which is the dissection of KIDNEY!!sheep's kidney...Well, introduction to kidney lah...it has a bean shape(not like mr bean k!)..it is a complicated organ that have numerous biological roles such as maintaining the homeostatic balance of bodily fluids by filtering and secreting metabolites(such a urea), important regulators of blood pressure,glucose matabolism and many more!the kidneys are retroperitoneal and range from 9-13cm in diameter; the left slightly larger than the right.(mrs ong..if u are reading this post...impressed anot?maybe its because i wikipedia it!hehe..)


Therefore, our class,which is soo good...hahaha....dissected the kidneys and while teacher is not there...we took our technology and started taking pictures...and some videos!hahaha....maybe its because we find it interesting although the smell of the kidney is...sooooooooooooooooooo nice smell(NOT!) hahahaa...but we do learn the structure of the kidney!hehe..non-serious time...more pics than serious ones..lol

Well, i will not say much...and let those pictures and videos to say lah....well...if only we could dissect FROG!hahahaa...(yeah this is against animal rights mah) hahaha....cruel cruel...and maybe its because if the smell of the kidney....they went siao siao!hahahaa...they even wanted to EAT the kidney!!OMG!!and they are still SMILING!!lol!
